Joyce Iris Hewitt - Young

Mrs. Joyce Iris Hewitt - Young was born on January 1,  1939 to the late Henry Hewitt and Lillian Waite in Manchester, Jamaica. Joyce married her late Husband Vincent Young on August 18, 1981.

They both immigrated to the United States in 1988 and settled in Evanston, IL with her sister Idalyn. Joyce was enrolled as a soldier at The Salvation Army in 2002. 

Joyce worked faithfully at the YMCA for over 27 years. She was a loving wife and mother. She was a devoted Salvationist who enjoyed fellowship with church family.

She is survived by her children, sister, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, brother-in-law, friends and other relatives.
