Mr. William Jones

Mr. William "Billie" David Jones III was born September 4, 1939 to the late William & Dorothy Jones of Evanston, Illinois. He was the oldest of four children, three of whom proceeded him in death, Philip, Janice and Virgil. William was educated in Evanston, Illinois school system. He was united in marriage to Virginia B. Jones in January of 1980.

William had a wonderful life with Christian influences of his parents. He was baptized at an early age at Ebenezer A.M.E Church. He later joined Tabernacle Baptist Church and was a faithful member until his health started declining. William was a great provider who has a special love for his wife and family. He was employed at Robinson Bus Company for many years, then joined the forces of Pace transportation until he retired.

He leaves to cherish his loving wife, Virginia B. Jones; Two sons, William S. Jones & Timothy L. Jones; One daughter, Valerie A. Belcher; Two grandsons, Gregory E. Nelson Jr. & Gerald A. Nelson (Tina); One uncle, Samuel Jones; Four aunts, Jenny Campbell, Eula Jones, Willie Lee Moragne, and Ruth Jones; Sister in law, Gloria Jones; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, church friends, and friends.
