Mrs. Doris Kathleen Kelley

Mrs. Doris Kathleen Kelley was born on December 19, 1919, in Evanston, IL to Carl and Lena Wilson. She was third to the oldest of two brothers and one sister.

Our dear Doris departed this world on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at 8:58 AM and is with Jesus in heaven.

Doris attended Washington School, Nichols Junior High and Evanston Township High School. She continued her education and attended DePaul University.

Doris was a God-fearing woman, she accepted Jesus in her life at an early age. She was always attending and working in church. In her later years she attended Springfield Baptist Church and was a Mother of the church where she leave behind a loving and caring church family of many devoted brother and sisters in Christ.

Doris was a wonderful mother and devoted wife to her late husband James Martin Kelley, Sr. and two children James Jr. and Pamela; two grandchildren, Eric Hambrick and Phylicia Colbert; four great grandchildren, Philicity, Quincy, Antionaya, and Christine; one daughter-in-law, Charlene and loving relatives and friends. Brothers and sisters who proceeded her in death are Kenneth, Evelyn and carl.
