Catrease Terese Beaird-Higinbottom affectionately known as "Trease", was born May 19, 1989 to Yolanda Beaird and George Gigginbottom Jr. in Evanston, Illinois.
She transitioned into Heaven on December 19, 2019. SHe was preceded in death by her grandparents; Dorothy and Jessie Beaird Sr. and George Higginbottom Sr.; aunt, Debra M. Petty, and uncle, Anthony L. Lamar.
Trease attended WIllard Elementary in Evanston, Illinois. In 2001, the family relocated to Atlanta, Georgia where she finished her primary education. Most recently, Trease attended Chattahoochee Technical College, to earn her license in Cosmetology. Her "love" for hair was evident in many of her hair styles!! She worked at Home Depot as a Customer Service Representative for a total of six years.
Trease was the light that shinned so brightly in the eyes of her family and many others. Her love for God was transparent. She believed that trusting in God was bigger than facing any problems.
Trease was a greta mom who loved spending all of her time with her kids, Braylen and Shaunie.
Catrease leaves to cherish in her memory: her mother, Yolanda Beaird; father, George (Shantell) Higginbottom, Ralph Hicks Jr.; two beautiful children, Braylen Jessie Kirkland and Yahaunie Neveah Denise Kirkland whom she loved with all of her heart. Nine siblings: Yanaya Zachery, Yonda (Jamal) King, Zavier Beaird all of Marietta, Georgia, Cleland (Alvis) Willett, George Higginbottom III, Rosie Higginbottom, Cedric HIgginbottom, Brenden HIgginbottom all of Peoria, Illinois, Anastasia Vance Higginbottom, Isaiah Higginbottom of Bartonville, Illinois grandmother ROsie (Sam) Crawford, honoary grandmother, Marva Brooks; aunts, Carolyn (Derwin) White of California, Donna (Antonio) Gibbs, Glinder (Paul) Perkins, Janet (Jerry) Kennedy of Evanston, Illinois, Sherrell (Anthony) Lamar, Karen (Greg) Woodfork, Hoffman, Illinois and Luevinia Hicks, uncle, Jessie G. Beaird of Evanston, Illinois and Ryan Higginbottom; great uncle and aunts, Louis and Linda FOster, Diane Aiden, Mamie Jackson of Illinois Lorraine Issac of West Memphis, Arkansas; godparents, Chris and Billy Jean Brand Spillman of Illinoia; best friend, Deborah Boyd of Marietta, Georgia and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
