Mimi Jean Watkins was born November 13, 1952 in Chicago to the late Margaret Jean Watkins and James R. Watkins. She ill be joining both of her parents in heaven. Mimi departed her cherished life on February 9, 2019 to be in Gods hands.
Mimi attended Evanston Township High School and Oakton Community College. She later earned her Baceholrs degree in Computer Science form Northeastern university. Mimi had severals Managerial positions throughout her business career. Mimi loved spending time on social media, playing games and keeping in touch with her friends and family. She loved to cook, attend plays, concerts, and travel with her fiance Lawrence Smith. Mimi attended Springfield Baptist Church and also Apostolic Church of God in Evanston, with her Fiancé, Lawrence.
Mimi leaves to mourn... Fiance Lawrence Smith, Four brothers; Sidney Watkins, Michael Watkins, Obtravies Watkins, and Robert Watkins. Four Sisters; Brenda Watkins, Rena Watkins, Tina Watkins, and Margaret Octavia Watkins.
Mimi will truly be missed by all her nephews, Nieces, including; Isaiah Pace (Miyah), Latiah Pace, Shantaya Pace, Jessica Pace, Andra Watkins, Jonathan Watkins, Jeremiah White, and a host of other aunts, uncles, family and friends.
