Ms. Pamela Yvonne Means was born on July 10, 1956 in Greenville, South Carolina. She was the youngest daughter of the late John Raymond and Anna Elizabeth Means.
A lifelong resident of Evanston, Illinois, Pam was a graduate of Evanston Township High School. She was formerly employed with G. D. Searle for 10 years as an administrative assistant, J. P. Morgan Chase Bank for over 15 years as a Senior Teller, and Ort Resale Shop for 3 years as an assistant manager.
She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, fashion design, and decorating.
Pamela Yvonne Means was called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 13, 2019, at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, IL.
Pamela is survived by her two sons, Darien Means of Chicago, Illinois and Alexander Means of Evanston, Illinois; three daughters, Tauria Means and Nicole Means of Evanston, Illinois, and Brielle Means of Chicago, Illinois; one and only sister Ingrid Butler of Charlotte, North Carolina; three brothers, John Means (Diane) and Stephen Means of Mauldin, South Carolina, and Michael (Dollie) Means of Long Grove, Iowa; 6 grandchildren – Schyler, Arian, Tre, Raelin, Jacere, Panama; and 1 great grandchild – De’Andre; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
