Danae Michelle Tinch (NaeNae) was born June 15, 1957 to the late Leroy and Gavnelle Tinch, at the old Community Hospital in Evanston, Illinois. Danae accepted Christ and began her Christian walk in her early childhood years. She attended the Evanston Public Schools.
Danae worked for the City of Evanston, Robinson Bus Company, and Evanston School District 65. Danae was known for her beautiful voice and sense of humor. If you met her, you would think she ran a homeless shelter because everyone was welcomed in her home.
Danae was preceded in death, by her father, Leroy, Tinch; mother, Gaynelle Tinch, and her loving sister, Janice Johnson.
She leaves behind to cherish many memories of her sister, Glenda (James) Cox; and her two brothers, Leroy (Norma) Tinch and Charles Tinch. Danae was survived by her three sons, Steven, Donald, and Cori; three daughters, Shawona, Bessie and Frances; 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins, and a host of family members and friends
whose lives she touched in so many special ways. Danae will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew her.
