David William Johnson was born in Evanston, IL to the late Martha Ann and the late David Thomas Johnson on September 30, 1969. The third of four live children, David held a special role in his family; the only boy and the apple of our eyes. We couldn’t say no to him.
David attended school in Evanston school districts 65 and 202.
David was baptized, along with his twin Charonna, at the Unity School of Christianity in 1969.
His most rewarding jobs were as a butcher for Dominic’s and Jewel, a devoted son and brother, loving father to his four children, friend to family, and loyalty to his friends. David seemed to know, and remember everyone he ever met.
He loved music and dancing from early on in his life, often entertaining everyone with his skills. Grilling was a specialty of his. David had a love for cars, probably inherited from his father.
On Wednesday, September 17, 2025, David William Johnson made his transition from Earth to paradise. Preceding him in death were his parents, David and Martha Johnson, and a stillborn brother.
David leaves a host of family to cherish his memory, and four children.
