The beloved Lewis Evans Hall was born into time on November 16, 1955, Danville, Virginia to the late Joseph Hall and Clara Marie Hall. Lewis was one of six children. Lewis was educated in the Virginia pubic school system before he moved to Chicago, Illinois with his family. Lewis attened and graduated from Sullivan High School. Lewis was a star football player. During the off season he participated in boxing. Lewis was one of a kind.
He was a man of many talents and wore many hats. He was a people's person. He was very giving, loving and often tried to take care of everyone he could. Lewis would give the shirt off his back in the rain to a stranger just to try to take care of them. A very patient man and extremely family oriented was Lewis. He was loved by so many.
Lewis was called home on June 19,2021. He is survived by his two children, Irine Marie Hall (Darnell) and Anthony Lewis Evans Hall Jr.; grandchildren Antonia Hall, Albany Jennings-Culberson (Robert), Olivia Lambert, Anthony Hall,Jr. Jayden Lambert, and Anyssa Hall; great grandchildren, J ai'Ryan Culberson, J aRiyah Culberson, Lorenzo Harrison, and Cymphonie Harrison; siblings, Edward June Hall (Sarah), Sterling Hall (patricia), Gracie Rodgers-Fair, Polly Hoskins (WC), Marvin Hall (Karla), as well a host of other relatives and friend. His legacy will continue to rise and he will be deeply missed. Please keep the family in your prayers.
