Mildred Jones - Redmond was born July 16, 1950 in Belzoni, MS to the late William C. Jones and Ennie Mae Jones. She was raised in the City of Chicago where she attend Holy Angels Catholic School and Englewood High School.
After high school she went on to work at the United Post Office. After working at the Post Office she moved on to be a barmaid at The Homestead Lounge, and the nightclub AKAs. Later she went on to be a registered nurse at Arbour Nursing Home and Northwestern Hospital, from which she retired.
She later met and married Charles Redmond in the mid 90's who preceded her in death. In her life time she enjoyed shopping, dancing and listening to music. Especially Berry White. You could always find her wearing red lipstick and nails to match. She spent a lot time with he aunt Eva & Joyce, and friends; Ms. Purnell, Jocelyn, Marie, Donna, and Denise.
She leave to morn her passing; One Sister, Carrie Lee Jones. Three Children; Erin Temple, Charod Temple, and Chanel Jones. Ten Grand Children; Marlena Wadley, Jendayi Ingram, Jonathon Hunt, Khari Temple, Tahja Temple, Chyne Temple, Kamihia Armour, Ti'nesha Durant, Gary Robinson, La'shan Robinson. One Great Grandchild; Assata Mae Young. Please keep the family in your prayers.
