Mr. Adonis Jordan Smith

Adonis Jordan Smith was born April 8, 1997 to Sylvia Hunt-Griffin and Glenn Smith Jr. Adonis loved life and his family. Adonis was special to everyone in the family. His smile would brighten up any room. Adonis had a special bond with all of his cousins and enjoyed spending time with them, playing video games, cracking jokes, eating and just hanging out. He also loved basketball, watching movies and his aunt Michelle's pumpkin gooey cake. Adonis' heart belonged to his siblings. He was a very special young man and loved his momma! God called Adonis home on Saturday, July 11, 2020. Although his time on Earth was short, he beat all odds and lived well beyond the doctors' expectation of 3 years. The Lord saw fit to pluck this precious flower from His earth, and plant him in His heavenly garden above. Adonis fought a good fight. He persevered through many setbacks and challenges, but God said, "it is time son". Adonis knew to be absent from the body is to be present with God. Adonis is survived byhis parents, Sylvia Hunt-Griffin and Gerald Griffin; his brothers Derryan, Gerald III and Ryan; sisters Sharreese (Shawn Furlough), DeAsia, Brooklyn, and Alexys; Grandparents, Cora Hunt-Galbreath and Carrie and Glenn Smith Sr. Adonis also leaves his niece Layanna; nephews, Rashawn and DeMaree and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and beloved friends. Please keep the family in your prayers.
