Antenor Phillipe was born in Haiti on May 7, 1955. In 1972, he came to the United States to complete his schooling. He spent most of his working life as cab driver for Best Taxi and was an extremely talented, self-taught guitarist. Antenor was preceded in death by his parents Jean Antoine Philippe and Erolia Philippe (nee Neda), his younger brothers, Samson Philippe and Samuel Phillipe, and his godson/nephew Carl Anthony Marcelin.
He is survived by his sisters Antonine Marcelin (nee Philippe), Marie Lourdes Fleurantin (nee Philippe) and Lociane Philippe-Theolus; Six nieces & nephews in the United States: Sandra Marcelin-Reme, Sheila Pollard, Rachel Marcelin, Dwayne Philippe, Kaleena Marcelin, Gerald Fleurantin, Jr. and seven nieces and nephews in Haiti (Theolus): Stephanie, Jean Junior.Marina, Laury, Cassandra and Cassandre; His great nieces and nephews: Andriana Michelle Marcelin, Gerald Fleurantin,III, Sophia-Noelle Reme, Malory Frouin, Armani Fleurantin, Kyle Frouin, Grace-Olivia Reme, Jessica Eve Paddyfoot, Jillian Rose Marcelin, Amy Angel Paddyfoot, Gia Fleurantin, Gabrielle Barnett and Madison Barnett; ...and many more family members along with countless, longtime friends.
