Mr. Charles Davis Obituary

Charles Davis came into this world on January 24, 1955. Born in Chicago, IL to Josephine Gill and Charles Davis (who Preceded him in death). He was raised by his step-father L.C. Gill (who also preceded him in death). Charlie was the first of two handsome children.

Charlie was raised in Chicago and Evanston, IL where he was a graduate of Evanston Township High School. At a young age Charlie accepted Christ and was Baptist in the Church of Christ at the age of 16.

Charlie wore many hats and played many roles. Growing up Charlie enjoyed playing music and doing gymnastic. He was a great dresser and stepper, he loved enjoyed time with his friends. 

Charlie was loved by everyone that he knew. To all who knew, knew that he enjoyed the finer things in life. He had strong family ties. After a long battle with illness, Charlie was called home to be with the Lord on August 13, 2021.

He leaves to cherish his memories his beloved brother, Dennis, Children, Karia, Charlie, Jr., Barbara, Shamika, Marcus (who preceded him in death), Monaye and Latonia. An aunt Suzy Myers. A niece Denise and nephew Dennis. Charlie had 19 grandchildren who loved him. Please keep the family in your prayers.
