Clarence Nathaniel Fowler affectionately called "Roy" was born July 21, 1958 to Charles Valentine Fowler and Wyndel Blake of Pedro District, St Catherine, Jamaica. After graduating high school, he went to Trade School and became an Auto Mechanic. He later owned and operated a successful trucking business before migrating to the USA. Here, he worked in the Operating Room at Highland Park Hospital as a Surgical Assistant for 22yrs, before illness forced him into retirement.
Roy was a loving husband to Christine, a doting father to 7 children , 17 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He had a zest for life. He enjoyed fixing old cars and gourmet cooking. A member of 1st SDA church of Evanston, where he was famous for making the most delicious fried dumpling for potluck.
He loved the Lord and spent his last days listening old gospel hymns. His favorite saying is "Don't sweat the small things" Please keep the family in your prayers.
