Mr. John S. Bias

John Bias born on August 23, 1946 in Birmingham, Alabama, to Anna Davis and Jimmy Bias. Both have preceded him in death. John attended Alabama public system where he graduated from Wenonah high school and attended Miles College on a basketball scholarship in Fairfield, Alabama.

John moved to Chicago, IL. for better opportunities and met Marjorie Jeanette Powell. They got married and had two sons, Sidney Lorne Bias and John Kirkland Bias. John worked as an United States Postal Carrier for 33 years and then retired. John enjoyed Basketball, Softball, football and bowling.

John was a member of a federal postal bowling team that traveled throughout the united States and Canada. John leaves to mourn his wife Marjorie, sons Sidney and Kirk, brother Reggie, brother Jimmy (deceased), brother Bay (deceased) and his sister Bessie: 3 Great Grandchildren, 6 grand children and a host of friends. nieces and nephews. Please keep the family in your prayers.
