Keith Allen Middleton Jr., was born on February 21, 1971, to Gretel and Keith Middleton Sr. in Chicago, IL.
He attended Gale Community Academy in Chicago, IL and Evanston Township High School in Evanston, IL. Keith was raised on the north side of Chicago throughout his childhood where he was well known and loved by many people.
Keith worked at the Presbyterian Home in Evanston, IL before deciding to move to Los Angeles; CA. Keith joined Job Corp and was relocated to the Clearfield Job Corp Center in Salt Lake City, UT. After a few years, he moved back to Los Angeles where he worked at Starving Students Movers in Los Angeles, CA, as a professional mover. He also worked for Red Truck Inc. where he would assist with movie prop setup for the sets of film production.
Keith was always a very creative artist who wanted to be recognized for his talent. From his graffiti art name "Task" to his rap artist name "Black Giankana (DBG)"; he would share his artistry with the world while making his name known. When Keith wasn't working, he enjoyed spending time at the "Tip" where he would write and record rhymes about his life experiences. He loved performing with the Real-E-Reel Entertainment throughout L.A. and Hollywood along with other family and friends. Keith believed that God blessed him with his artistic gifts for a reason and wanted to do right by Him by sharing those gifts with others.
Keith was known and loved very much by everyone who knew him. He leaves to treasure his memory, mother, Gretel Middleton; three sons; Allen Middleton, Keith Middleton Ill, and Khari Middleton, two daughters; Victoria Johanson and Brianna Gilbert, four sisters; Andrea Davison, Gail Middleton, Shelmarone Bowers, and Jessica Owens, four brothers; Andrew Middleton, Anthony Middleton, Nicholas Middleton and Robert Middleton, Grandfather Rudolph Middleton, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Keith departed this life and was reunited with his brother, Matthew Middleton and father, Keith Middleton Sr. on March 9, 2022. His father, Keith Middleton Sr., on August 27, 2020.
