Mr. Marquice Rivera

Marquis Maurice Rivera, IL entered God's Kingdom on August 4, 2023. He was born on April 12, 2001, to Katiuscia Pinette While attending Evanston Township High School Track and Field was his highlight till, he graduated in June 2019. Marquis had a love for cars since he was a baby his reasoning for having a passion for cars is spelled Freedom. Freedom to travel, freedom to express oneself, freedom to dream." That is why Car-X Drift was one of his favorite games to stream all day or The Call of Duty. You name it he was playing it every day.

Marquis was always known as the "sociable" one. It would prove to be his superpower. He leaves a huge hole in the hearts of his family and friends who were always entertained by his stories and hilarious sense of humor. He truly brought life to the party. Marquis is survived by his mother Katiuscia Pinette (Ralph), his siblings Mitchell Rivera (Cassandra), Katiana Edwards and Dumah Edwards. Maternal Great- grandmother, Grandmother, Paternal Grandmother, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many friends that love him.

Marquis was an avid gamer, foodie and a gentle soul. A stubborn force to be reckoned with. An unrelenting advocate for being who you are and doing what you want. Loud, funny, intelligent, distinguished. There is so much more that should be said, but in the end, what he did was make our world brighter. We love and miss you, Marquis. Please keep the family in your prayers.
