Obituary

Quentin was born September 22,1977 in Chicago, I to Alene Pruett. Quentin grew up on the north-side of Chicago in a community known as "Rogers Park." Quentin was baptized and accepted Christ as his savior at an early age. Quentin attended Gale Elementary school and later attended various trade schools throughout his teenage & adult life.

Quentin ventured out into the world to utilize his skills and obtain employment in different trades. He was a hard worker and often maintained working two jobs to support himself. He enjoyed working and having his independence so much, that he left Rogers Park to explore other states. Quentin lived in Madison, WI, Las Vegas, NV, and Denver, CO solely looking for work and greater hopes to pave a way for a better life that he envisioned for himself.

Quentin enjoyed many different sports and he loved music, particularly "Reggae." Quentin's family and friends gave him many different nicknames such as, "The Party Promoter", "X man" or simply "Q. Most of all, he deeply loved his family and enjoyed family gatherings and cookouts!

Family was the most important aspect of Quentin's life that he cherished. He always greeted you with a hug, a big smile and always with positive energy. No matter what obstacles may have happened in Quentin's life, he always remained positive and optimistic.

Quentin returned back home to Rogers Park to visit family and friends momentarily, but GOD called his Angel to return back to him on March 21, 2023, at the age of 45. Quentin was preceded in death by his grandfather John Pruett; grandmother, Gwendolyn Strong Hall Pruett; his uncle, Kevin Pruett; Aunt, Janice Pruett Giddens and Beloved Great Aunts & Uncles.

Quentin leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Alene Pruett; siblings, Quanius, Roshonda, Garnett, Cameron, and Dominique Pruett his big brother/cousin Jermaine and sister/ cousin Africus (Yoyo) as well as a host of nephews, nieces, cousin's aunts and uncles. Please keep the family in your prayers.
