On Wednesday August 10, 1988, the union of Stanford and Valerie Jackson was kissed with the birth of their one and only son, Sean Jackson. Sean is the ultimate multi-tasker! He is an alumnus of Bessie Rhodes and Evanston Township High School, known as “Chemist Kingston,” on social media and Action Jackson to his work buddies. He accepted Christ at a young age.
Sean gave 110% to whatever role and task he took on, whether it was Ushering, Drama Ministry, Mime Group, Youth Ministry (T.I.G.H.T.) or belting out tunes in the Youth Choir.
Sean’s words carry the weight of his unwavering commitment and dependability. As a true friend and brother, he has shown that loyalty is not just a word, but a way of life. His legacy is one of trust, inspiring others to follow in his footsteps and foster meaningful relationships built on reliance and mutual respect.
Sean was called home on July 1, 2024. To cherish his memories, he leaves behind his Parents: Stanford and Valerie Jackson, Siblings; 2 Sisters, Sophia Myers and Shanice Jackson: His 4 Nephews: Jeremiah Daubon, Malachi Gonzalez, Eden and Micah Beaucicot, life partner: Amber Johnson, a host of dear Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.
His pride in his culture was not only evident but contagious to all those around him. From his mastery of the newest dance moves to his knowledge of the latest movies and trends in fashion, Sean truly embodied the essence of Jamaican culture. The country’s motto, “Out of Many One People,” was more than just a phrase-it was a way of life for him.
In a world where diversity and unity are often overlooked Sean’s unwavering commitment to celebrating the richness of Jamaican heritage have left a lasting on who had the privilege of knowing him.
As we reflect on Sean’s legacy, let us strive to embrace our own cultural heritage with the same pride and enthusiasm that he did. May his spirit continue to inspire us to honor our roots and celebrate the beauty of diversity. ‘One Love’ Please keep the family in your prayers.
