Mrs. Alter Brown Obituary

Our Matriarch, Mother Alter Jean Brown born, February 1,1938 in Abbeville, Mississippi to Mattie Mae Ward and Walter Flowers. Both parents preceded her in
death as well as her husband, Deacon Larry Wiggins, her fine son Christopher J. Willing ham and a striking daughter, Shirley A. Brown.

The Lord saw his child suffering and called her home on December 1, 2021 @ 3: 17P.M Mother Jean accepted Christ at an early age and regularly attended Peoples of Glory, C.O.G.I.C. SHE TRULY LOVED THE LORD and taught us so much. Mother Jean moved to Forest City, Arkansas then to Chicago, IL and shortly began working for the City of Chicago then with the Social Security board.

Mother Jean was a 'serious' ball of fun! She would place you where you belong in a heartbeat. She had a way with words. Expect the unexpected. No need to cry because she made US one of the funniest, silliest families on this side of the map. Ask anyone about the Zac-leys ... L0L. Our Jeannie Pooh, Baby Girl, Madea, Granny Ranny, GG was the sweetest, most kind-hearted lady ever to Grace this earth and grace she did. Our Mother was a serious looker and-dresser. Everyone LOVED our mommy. She taught us how to give back. She taught us how to love others as our own. She took in kids no matter the age or race. She had a true and pure heart of GOLD like no other. There will NEVER, EVER be another PRECIO S GEM like our mommy: Jeannie Pooh ... Mother Jean leaves to cherish her memories: her handsome sons: Vernard 'Nardo' Brown, Dennis Brown, Henry JB Brown and a beautiful daughter: Rochelle' Jynah J. Gina' Brown. 16 lovely grandchildren 23 adorable great grandchildren and 2 handsome great-great grandsons, 3 beautiful sisters: Bettie Sue Landrum, Geneva Johnson and Ezraline Mable and 1 handsome brother, Clint Ward. She also has a beautiful honorary Bestie/Sister Maxine Foster. Please keep the family in your prayers.
