Bernadette Carol Augustine, known as JJB" or JJMs. B", was born in Stann Creek, Belize on August 21 st , 1972 to the union of Augustina Castillo and Monsel Carr. She was the youngest of four loving siblings. Having to move from Belize to Chicago, her goal was to live a fulfilled and better life with her loving children. Bernadette enjoyed the little moments life had to offer and she was grateful for her family and friends. She only spoke positivity and was always willing and ready to help anyone in need.
Bernadette loved many things and cooking was one of them. She would generously cook with love and care for her entire family, friends, and community. She was truly a genuine and caring soul. She was a dedicated mother, lovely Wife, loving grandmother, generous friend, dependable family member, and a ray of sunshine to the world. Bernadette is survived by her children Jeneal Carr, Isaih Wade, Kenya Carr, and Tyra Casimiro; late mother Augustina Castillo and father Monsel Carr; husband Leonard JJMentos" Wade; grandchildren Jeremy Herron, Caira Corneilus, Roy Augustine and Madeline Hagston, Keshawn Carr, and Kale Carr; sister Marian Carr; brothers Sylvin Carr, Daniel Mendez, and Matthew Ricketts; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends. Bernadette will be truly missed by all who loved her beautiful spirit and kind heart. May her soul rest peacefully in Heaven.
