Christine Dean Huff was born on October 4, 1937, Dekalb Mississippi' to Paul and Fannie Mae Dean. She accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at an early age and attended Springfield Missionary Baptist Church.
Christine was united in Holy Matrimony with the late Walter Lee Walker in 1955. To this union seven children were born. She worked as a chief at Sun and Sand in the late 60's and was a housekeeper at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in the 80’s.
Christine departed this earthly life on Sunday, December 5, 2021, at Woodbridge Nursing pavilion in Chicago, IL
She was preceded in death by her husband Jerome Huff, her grandparents Will and Beth Dean, Matthew Scott and Augusta Scott-Campbell, her parents Paul and Fannie Mae Dean, and brothers Eugene Dean Sr., and Martin Dean, Sr., and sister Pearl Dean-Johnson.
Christine leaves to cherish her memories: one sister, Grace Thompson of Hoffman Estates, two sister-in- laws; Viola Dean of Laurel, MS, and Gloria Dean of Gulfport, MS; eight children; Paul E. Dean (deceased), Vivian (Tommy) Anderson of Evanston, Walter “Andre” walker of Chicago, Retha D. Walker (deceased) of Gulfport, MS, Ms. Ronnie (Laurie) Walker (deceased), Marie Walker (deceased), Calvin Walker of Gulfport, MS, and Samuel Walker of Skokie, IL, a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Please keep the family in your prayers.
