Mrs. Darice Duncan ~ Harris

Darice was born in Evanston, IL on September 8,1959 to Joan (Petecy) Glover and James Albert (Spence) Glover. Darice was the first born of two children, and she attended school in Evanston Public School District. She worked in the Healthcare industry for over 40 years giving love and passion to numerous patients and families. In 1997, she met the man she would marry on June 18, 1999; the man with whom she would spend her last days with.

Darice is proceeded in death by her mother and Father Petecy & Spence. Darice leaves to cherish her legacy: her husband Darrell Harris, sister Charmaine Clark, children: Lakeita Duncan, Ivreice DuncanSutton, Jashaun Thomas, Kejuaun (Lakeya) Thomas, and Johnae Thomas; Her 4 step children Durrell, Demeris, Darrell Jr. and Darriell; 23 grandchildren Jesse (Tyanna) Thomas, Malika Sutton, Deja Sutton, Takeya Deans, Dashaun Sutton, Kejuaun Thomas Jr., Markel Sutton, Anthony Bohanon Ill, Kejuauna Thomas, Keionna Deans, Shakurah Thomas, Tayshaun Duncan-Sutton, Dalika Sutton, Chonsiney Sheets, Kimari Sutton, Charles Sheets, Chase Sheets, Kaejuaun Thomas, Terreonce' Newburn, Chonsey Sheets, Pharaoh Thomas, Noble Thomas, Kyrie Thomas-Randle; 8 Step grandchildren, Jamarri, Demeris Jr., Demario, Durrell Jr., Dariel, Dora, Laylianna, 28 Great grandchildren, along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

On Wednesday, August 9, 2023, Darice Duncan-Harris transitioned from glory to glory. "For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love His appearing. " (Il Timothy 4:6-8) Please keep the family in your prayers.
