On May 24, 1955, a baby girl was born to Lowester and Willie T. Judon and they named her Loretta. Her father gave her the nickname of Pat, which most of her family called her. Loretta accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior at Springfield Missionary Baptist Church, Evanston, IL, under the pastorate of Reverend L. M. Geeter, where she sang in the young adult choir.
Loretta moved her church membership to Christ Temple Missionary Baptist Church, Evanston, IL, under the pastorate of Reverend Jerome Brown where she remained until her death under the pastorate of Reverend Kenneth E. Cherry. She remained a faithful member until her health decline prevented her from attending service regularly. Loretta attended elementary and middle school in Evanston, IL, and graduated from Evanston Township High School. After graduation she attended University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign and Northeastern University, Chicago, IL.
Loretta worked at the Skokie Old Orchard Bank, Washington National Insurance Co., and Northwestern University where she worked for many years until retirement. Preceding her in death were her parents Lowester and Willie T. Judon, maternal grandparents Lovie and Jack Terrell and paternal grandparents, Hattie and Tilmon Judon. She leaves to cherish her memories a daughter, Charmaine (Michael), two grandchildren, Lina and Talia of Germany, two aunts, Frances Keys (Charles): and Florine Roberson (John deceased) of Mississippi, and a host of family and friends. Please keep the family in your prayers.
