Mrs. Robin Angela Hicks

Robin Angela Hicks was born in Gary, Indiana September 21, 1972 to the union of Brenda Sneed and Roderick Ronald Belle. She was baptized on Easter Sunday, April 19, 1981 at United Methodist Christ Church in Washington D.C.
 
Robin Angela Hicks had the opportunity of residing in Chicago, Evanston,  Glenview, and Arlington Heights in Illinois, Phoenix, AZ and Washington, D.C. She graduated from Evanston  Township  High School in 1990 and went on to further her education at Southern Illinois University.
 
Robin Angela Hicks married Kenneth Hicks on August 31, 1996 at Israel  Methodist Church located in Gary, Indiana. Robin and Kenneth were blessed with two children, Summer and Nicolas and settled in Arlington Heights, Illinois.  Motherhood  brought  Robin  the most joy.  She was very involved  in her children's activities. Whether  it  was Tae Kwon  Do or basketball,  Robin  was  there cheering for them and encouraging them. She shared her love for movies and festivals  with them as well.  She would become excited about the artistry displayed or a creative find.
 
Robin Angela Hicks loved music and dancing. Robin's mother often told her that her family was like a "sitcom." During a phone call with Robin you heard the kids, Kenneth and the dogs in the background. You would want to be there too. She also found joy in talking to and spending time  with all her nieces and nephews. Family relationship were extremely important to her. Robin was fiercely protective, loyal and courageous.
 
Robin Angela Hicks was preceded in death by her mother, Brenda Sneed and her grand-parents, Bill and Annie Sneed. She will dearly missed by all.
 
 
Robin Angela Hicks passed peacefully on May 10, 2019 at 46 years old. She is survived by her husband; Kenneth (Kenny) Hicks and their children Summer and Nicolas.  Also left to cherish  her memory are her aunts Carol Greene of Evanston, Illinois, Edith Sneed-Young (Patrick) of Phoenix, Arizona and in-laws Sue and Williams Yancy Hicks. Also many cousins, nieces, nephews  and  a host of other  relatives and friends to mourn her loss.
