Mrs. Thelma Thomas

Thelma Ree Thomas was born November 8, 1942 in Slate Springs Mississippi to Rev. Volley Mhoon and Vester Baily. Both precede her in death.

Also, her 3 children: Michael, Sherry, and Gale. Her four sisters: Villa Mae, Audrey, May Frances, and Ruby. Three brothers: Fred, Sonny and Otis, and one granddaughter: Shamara.

On May 23 afternoon our Father carried our mom home. Thelma accepted Christ early at Double Springs Baptist Church under leadership of her father Rev. Volley Mhoon.

She worked hard and traveled to Chicago where she started her family and worked as a nanny fir 30 years. She was United in Marriage to Lee David Thomas.

She leaves to cherish her memory her 3 children: Linda of Rockford, IL, Lynn of Love Park, IL, and Barbara (James) of Chicago. Three brothers: Howard, Charles, and Robert. Eleven grandchildren: Vivian, Abib, Randal, Octavia, Josef, Luke, Andrea, Rayven, Xavier, and Eric. One great granddaughter: Charlotte. And a host of Nieces and Nephews, family and friends.
