Athera Venine Hernandez mainly known as Tia was born in Belize on March 1, 1984 to Debbie Domingo and Santiago Hernandez. She was raised in Chicago and Evanston throughout her childhood. At the age of 5 Athera she moved to Chicago and raised under the wings of mother Debbie Domingo and father William Francis.
After getting her GED she received her CNA license. She cared deeply for aiding to the healing of others. She put love, care, and pride in her profession and truly cared for her clients and patients with great passion. Her compassion for supporting others spilled over into her personal life. She loved the people in her life strongly and deeply. Athera loved laughter and joy. She blossomed in the mist of others and let her love for caring for others reach people near and far. Her personality was bright, bold, beautiful, and unapologetic.
She was confident in who she was and energy she expelled. Anyone who knew her would describe her as the life of the party and a force of energy with a ridiculously comedic blunt humor. She changed many lives by showing everyone unconditional love and acceptance. Once you met her, there’s no going back, you’ve made a life long friend. She was a force to be reckoned with and went after what she wanted Her smile and laugh were memorizing, infectious, and lite up any place she took her presence. She was happy to see others light up because it filled her with true joy. She cared for her loved ones with incredible emotional, physical, and mental support.
She was always there for those who needed her and took pride in being a great friend and family member. She expressed herself with extreme passion, sass, and gamy humor. Her comedic ways made people folk to her like a bee with honey. Her passion for living life to the fullest was an inspiration to many to cherish today One thing we can all learn from through her passing is to love those around us and cherish the relationships with have with loved ones as she did.
She survived by her: her Mother Debbie Domingo, her father William Francis and Santiago Hernandez, her step-father Henry Malcolm, her brother and sisters; Andre and Rashida Francis, Tamera, Tarsha, Rackreshia, Hasina, Melissa, and Kerell Hernandez. She also leaves behind her boyfriend Joesph Powell and a host of Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. So many people that deeply loved her. She will missed be missed by many always.
