Emma Margaret Sprowal was born July 31,1944 in Greenwood, South Carolina to James and Eddie Mae Sprowal. Emma accepted Christ at an early age and rejoined Bethel AME Church, Evanston in 2000 where she was a faithful member and Missionary until her health started to fail.
Emma attended Evanston public schools. In the early seventies, Emma worked as a cook at Northwestern University, Katherine's Women's Clothing Store and her last employment as a caregiver for Frank Murkison.
She loved reading the Bible, her church, watching Joyce Myers and talking on the phone. She loved to laugh and her laughter will be missed. On Monday, October 31,2022 at the age of 78, the Lord lifted Emma Margaret to her final resting place.
She was preceded in death by both her Father and Mother, James and Eddie Mae. She leaves to cherish her memories, siblings, John; Ernie (Sharon) Bibbs, Letitia and Toni Fisher; nephews, Robert Minter and Alex Van; Niece Robin Minter; Aunts Margaret Bates and Mary Ester Ellerbe and a host of cousins and friends. Please keep the family in your prayers.
