Ms. June Jessica Nymn

June Jessica Nymn, 70, of Evanston, IL, peacefully passed away on April 14, 2022 surrounded by loved ones, after a difficult battle with heart failure.

June was born on June 1,1951 to Brenda Mascall and Cecil Nymn in Tobago. She was christened as a baby in Belmont, Trinidad. She relocated to the United States in 1973 where she resided in New York City. While in New York, June met Emmanuel Aristide in 1977 whose union
created her two devoted sons: Dwane Aristide and Manvel Aristide.

June moved to Chicago, Illinois in 1979 and then to Evanston, Illinois in 1988 were she attended St. Andrews Church. June is survived by her two sons: Dwane Aristide (Shawana Simms) and Manvel Aristide (Elena Aristide), her three Sisters: Mona Cain, Marcia Cain Bernard, and Marva Cain, her two Brothers: junior Matthews, Sean Matthews, and five grandchildren: Asia Blount, Veronica Thomas (Re Linda Goolsby), Deon Aristide, Xavier Aristide, Zoie Aristide.

June Nymn was dedicated to serving others. She prided herself in taking care of her family and others in need. She showed dedication by example, by earning her degree from Catherine College while working full time, tending to her children, and studying at night.

She was a caregiver and Nurses Aid for many years until her retirement. She was employed by other families, nursing homes, and hospitals throughout her career. June was known for many things specifically her keen eye for fashion, shopping, and fellowship with family and friends.

She loved music, she loved dancing, and she loved shopping. Even with all of these preferences, she loved her family the most of all.
