On November 12, 1936, Pastor Eugal A. Henry was born to Alice Davis and John Henry in Jamaica, WI. He was the fourth of ten children.
Pastor Eugal A. Henry accepted Christ at an early age in Spaulding, Jamaica under the leadership of Bishop R. Green. This laid the foundation for his long commitment to Christ and winning of souls for the Kingdom of God.
In 1967, Pastor Eugal A. Henry migrated from Jamaica to Chicago, IL. He later married Carmen A. Pommells on July 7th, 1968 in Evanston, IL. Through this lovely union they had three daughters Michelle, Sharon, and Sonya. Pastor Eugal A. Henry and First Lady Henry shared Fifty-Four years of martial bliss and the blessing of eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In 1984, Pastor Eugal A. Henry became the Founder and Pastor of Apostolic Lighthouse Church of Evanston, where he shephered 38 years. Pastor Eugal A. Henry was such a Great Man of God, A Loving and Exceptional Husband, an AWESOME FATHER, a Man of Love, a Man of Integrity, a Man of Faith, a Man of Character, a Man of Dignity, a Man of Strength, a Man of Hope, a Man of Wisdom and a Father to the Fatherless, but MOST OF ALL, HE WAS A MAN THAT WAS STEADFAST, UNMOVEABLE, ALWAYS ABOUNDING IN THE WORK OF THE LORD KNOWING THAT HIS LABOR WOULD NOT BE IN VAIN.
On December 12, 2022 the Lord called Pastor Eugal A. Henry home to rest from his labor, we all are confident that the Lord indeed has said "WELL DONE THOU GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT, YOU'VE BEEN FAITHFUL OVER MANY THINGS, I WILL MAKE THEE RULER OVER MANY THINGS; ENTER THOU INTO THE JOY OF THY LORD". (Matthew 25:21 KJV)
Pastor Eugal A. Henry leaves to cherish his memory his wife, First Lady Carmen Henry; his three daughters, Michelle Henry-Bland (Todd Bland), Sharon Henry-Davis (Herman Davis), and Sonya Henry; his eight grandchildren, Phenicia Williams, Dayna Madourie, Tyrese Gray-Henry, Taylor Gray-Henry, Damani Wint, Deron DJ Hyman, Mitchell Davis and Terrinn McDaniel; his two great-grandchildren, Tianna and Tiarra Gray; his memory lives on with his brothers, sisters, and a host of nieces and nephews.
