Sadie C Williams

Sadie Williams was born in Westmoreland, Jamaica on September 9, 1943. As a young girl she worked at a supermarket and a clothing store in Savannah la Mar. In the early 70's she moved to Montego Bay where she met her late husband. In Montego Bay she began training as a nurse at the Dr. Herbert Morrison Hospital where she learned under a fast paced, urgent care department. In 1987 she migrated to the United Sates. She settled in Evanston, Illinois where she worked as a home help caregiver in private residences and then at the Presbyterian home in the housekeeping department. She retired from the Presbyterian home in 2008 and returned to Montego Bay, Jamaica. In March of 2018 she returned to the North Shore area due to the decline of her health. She resided at the Alden Estates of Skokie in 2019 until she departed on January 8, 2025.
