Venita Jo Alexander was born on April 6, 1962, in Michigan City, Indiana, to Bernice Johnson and the late Howard Daniel Sr.
As a young girl, Venita and her family moved to Chicago, Illinois, where she attended Chicago
Public Schools. Later, they settled in Evanston, Illinois, where she yew up alongside her siblings and her education in the Evanston Public Schools.
During the late 19708 the early 1990s, Venita wag blessed with children' she lovingly raised and nurtured with unwavering devotion. In the early19908, she relocated her family to Mississippi, where she continued to care for her children with strength determination.
It was in Mississippi that Venita found her faith in Jesus. She joined The United House of Prayer in
Cotton Plant, Mississippi, under the leadership of Bishop Henry Finley, and later her life to Christ through baptism. Her deep love for the Lord became a cornerstone of her life, and she instilled that faith in her children
On February 14, 2000, Venita the late grandmother, Tony Alexander, entering a union built on love and faith. Venita was a wife, mother, and friend.

She was also passionate about collecting realistic babydolls, Liam being her favorite, and rambling at vac sales and thrift stores, always finding something worthwhile. traveling to visit her children and grandchildren, creating cherished across different states. With her warm and welcoming spirit, she never met a stranger and spoke with pride about her*" family.
In 2018, Venita returned to Illinois and has resided here for the past 6 years, (one year was in Colorado) She was with cancer in 2022 and she faced a courageous battle. She remarkable strength, bravery, and unwavering faith in Cod her illness. On December
13, 2024, surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and loved ones she was home to be with the Lord.
Venita was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Tony Alexander; her father, Howard Daniel Sr.; her stepfather, Autry Johnson; brothers Dennis Walker and Brandon Daniel; ‘’ sisters Debra Daniel and PattyDanie1; nephews Lonzell Daniel and Jamal Johnson; and cousins Anthony fisher and Tony Walker.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her mother, Bernice Johnson of Myrtle, MS; stepmother, Linda Daniel of Michigan City, IN; and her loving children: Antuan (Misty) Daniel of Tupelo, MS;

CA; Tevin Daniel and Dantrell Daniel of Zion, IL; and stepson Antonio Alexander of Texas. Brothers
James Daniel Lovejoy, CA; Howard (Myshell) Daniel and Andrew Daniel ofMyrt1e, MS. Sisters Gloria Daniel of North Chicago, IL; Lasha Daniel of Evanston, IL; and Brittany Mills of Powder Springs, CA. Sisters-in-laws, Eva Walker of Waukegan, IL, and Lindsey Daniel of Michigan City, IN. Her cherished grandchildren: Zack, Zariana, Alaysia, Zaynae, Amariee, Najah, Tariah, Rayon,
Alatin, Mallory, TaNiyah, Isaiah, Nasir, Tevin Jr, Roman, Makai kindel, Mia, Manna. Last but not least her Tony (TC.) Daniel who she also raised as her own. Venita will also be deeply missed by her best friend and sister, Kimberly Priester, along with a host of niece, nephews, community children and grandchildren, relatives, and friends.
Venita's life was a testament to love, faith, and resilience. She touched the heart everyone she met, and her memory will forever be cherished by all who were blessed to know her.
